Sheryle Dee Alcorn, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Lethbridge at the age of 58 years.
Sheryle is survived by her children, Lisa (Darren), and Adam; grandchildren, Mercedes, Reese, Hayden, Ava, Milla, Amiyah, Tanisha, Anthony, Arthur, Artemis; sisters, Shannon (Wayne), Jessie (Ian), Marsha (Kenneth), Trisha (Jonathan), and brother Jeremy (Jeana). She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Marlene Alcorn and her brothers Harold and Bruce.
Sheryle was born in Yakima, Washington and was a member of the Blood Tribe. Growing up she had a great love for music and sports. She was very talented and excelled in these areas including being able to play multiple instruments and placing in the top 2 in a beauty contest. She loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. She went on to marry and have 2 beautiful children and 10 grandchildren who she devoted her life to. Sheryle was always very proud of her family and her Aboriginal heritage.
Friends and Family may gather for a viewing at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, October 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stirling (413 -3rd Street ) on Friday, October 18, 2024 starting at 1:00 pm.
A private family graveside service will be held at Raymond Temple Hill Cemetery.
