
Lisa Dawn Atkins peacefully departed this world on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the age of 65.
Born in Seattle, Washington, on May 18, 1958, Lisa was the eldest among six cherished children born to Gordon and Joan (Lecoq) Atkins. Her formative years were spent in Calgary, where she completed her education at Western Canada High School. In 1983, Lisa proudly earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Idaho. Her professional journey led her through several states and provinces, including Arizona, Idaho, Washington, California, and British Columbia, where she excelled as an Architectural Programmer. Her expertise flourished in designing hospitals, municipal buildings, and libraries.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Brittani Ard, and her grandchildren: Briana, Max, Nainoa, Alex and Colter. She is also remembered by her father, Gordon; mother, Joan; sister, Laura; brothers, Drew, Ryan, and Seth; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Lisa was predeceased by her daughter, Braileigh, and her brother, Murray.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff and cancer specialists at the Cardston Health Centre for their exceptional care during these past few months.
