Dakota Angel Taylor was born February 27,1995 in Cardston, AB. Her earlier years were spent in Stand Off where she attended Kindergarten Elementary School. Where ever you would meet or see Sharon, not far behind would be Dakota. Every where Sharon went Dakota would be there. Later in the years they moved out into the country. Dakota was always at Grandpa Sam’s house. She started fancy dancing and playing hockey. Being in an accident set her back on her schooling and fun activities. Dakota loved spending time with her nephews and nieces, cousins, Paige, Sative, and Shana. Koda got her style from her brothers who sported the latest Nike and Jordans. Her favorite color was pink. She loved listening to music and watching movies. Koda wrote in a journal that she kept, in there you find many encouraging quotes, music, movie titles as well as delicious recipes she wanted to try. Sharon and her family moved to Lethbridge, this is where Koda met Brendon and had two beautiful boys whom she loved and adored very much. Before her passing she was on the road to recovery and had dreams and goals for a better future. Koda was missing her parents and brothers. Now she’s reunited with them but leaves us here with broken hearts . Til we meet again Dakota Angel Taylor. The family would like to give a big thank you to Dr’s and Nursing Staff at St. Michael’s that took care of our beloved Dakota. Also thank you to the Staff at Lethbridge Shelter and Streets Alive for caring and taking care of her while battling her addiction. We the family apologize for anyone we may have missed.

A Wake Service will be held at Streets Alive, Lethbridge on Wednesday, December 18 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  The Wake will continue at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve until 11:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church, Blood Reserve on Thursday, December 19 at 11:00 am.  The interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Stand Off.
