PETER DAVID BULL SHIELDS, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with his workers by his side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the age of 40 years. Peter is survived by his brothers, Darcy Medicine Crane and Cory Medicine Crane; his biological father, Thomas Gambler; his children Davey, Tia, and Destiney Chief Moon and biological daughter who lives in Vancouver; friends and relatives, Gordon and Darlene Spear Chief (Ty), Melvin Spear Chief, Barry Long Time Squirrel, Marvin Spear Chief, David Bull Shields, Richard Bull Shields, Doreen Bull Shields and his other brothers from River House. Peter was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Bull Shields, and stepfather, Jason Bull Child, his brother Jordan Bull Shields, and sister Mary Bull Shields, and many brothers and sisters who have passed before him. Peter is remembered by family and friends as having a strong personality and being a straight shooter; he would always tell it like it is. Peter loved rap music, Eazy-E & Tupac, watching the TV shows Duck Dynasty & Ridiculousness, playing card games Crib & Hockey, and telling stories about the experiences shared with his brother Jordan and his close friends. The family extends a special thanks to River House, R-SPACE, Streets Alive, and the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital.
A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston from 9:00 - 11:00 am with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Stand Off, AB.
