Harvey “Blair” Chief Moon (Sikapiyohkitopi) Grey Horse Rider, was born November 6th, 1965, in Cardston, Alberta. He held various positions throughout his lifetime which included being a cowboy, boxer, and broke and trained horses. Harvey moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1994 and has resided there ever since. He was very involved in the Sundance ceremonies in the late 80’s early 90’s and was very committed to attending the late Moris Crow’s ceremonies. Harvey loved singing powwow and joined the Lavern communities, drum group. He was a friend to anyone he met and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Harvey was predeceased by his special friend Natalie Big Old Man who he missed each and every day.
He is survived by his son Graham “Boyd” Shot Both Sides (Kassandra White Man Left) and their son Bryson and daughter Leandra, his daughter Natasha “Lynn” Shot Both Sides ( Mohamad Jama) and their son Zire, his sister Ethel (Leonard) Chief Moon, Niece Tiffany Chief Moon, Toni (Chris) Bigelow, Randi Chief Moon, Suzie Chief Moon and Nephew Leonard Chief Moon Jr. The family apologize for any family members missed.
He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, parents Rose (Fred) Baker, aunts, uncles, cousins and most notably Chief Red Crow.

A Wake Service will be held at White Calf Hall, Stand Off on Friday, December 17 from 7:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at White Calf Hall, Stand Off on Saturday, December 18 at 11:00 am. Following the funeral service, Harvey will be laid to rest at the Pioneer Cemetery, Lavern, Alberta.
