Dylan Peter Crow Chief (Many Birds -Aakaipiksssi) was born in Lethbridge on September 26, 1987, he sadly passed away at the age of 35 on December 25, 2022, to his loving parents; late mother Alfreda Crow Chief and father Joseph One Owl. Dylan was predeceased by his grandparents, Wallace Crow Chief and Mary Crow Chief (Nee Crow Spreads His Wings); Matthew One Owl and Alice One Owl ( Crow Eagle); by his sister’s Tasha Crow Chief, Michelle One Owl; aunty Rose Marie Crow Chief; uncles Ed One Owl, Matthew One Owl, Mick One Owl, Danny One Owl, George Plain Woman, Robert Medicine Crane. Dylan was the loving family, friend, brother, father, husband, to those that knew and held him close to their hearts. He knew that he had a loving connection and a light to share with all he held close in his prayers. Dylan is survived by the love of his life Mrs. Stephanie Crow Chief ( Nee Thunder) his five children whom he loved with all his heart; by his brother Ivor Crow Chief, Duane One Owl, Daniel One Owl, Justine One Owl, sister’s Candace Crow Chief, Janine Crow Chief. Dylan grew up in southern Alberta, within Calgary, Lethbridge, Standoff and Brocket and Pincher Creek. He went to kindergarten in Lethbridge, he later went to Lake View Elementary School, Gilbert Patternson and furthered his wingspan in the labor force; carpentry, landscaping, concret, electrical, fencing, dry walling, painting, and worked with West Coast Amusement midway rides at various locations in Alberta. He enjoyed supporting his loved ones when needed. He was a hard worker, happy to see you, kind and thoughtful. Dylan always had a smile for you, enjoyed hockey, nature, and his freedom. He came from a loving home, many loved him, he was known for his sense of humor and knew how to make you laugh. His company was always welcoming. Enjoyed being with his friends and family, he loved all his siblings and his nieces and nephews and those he indian adopted as his own. He had a listening ear when needed. He prayed and went to church. Dylan's love for his children was his everything he ever wanted, he was a proud dad, and did what he would do anything for his children. He loved his beloved wife Stephanie, he had a zest for life.
A Wake Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Stand Off, AB.
