
Myron Crow Eagle (Ma toom Saako) first hail was born on March 27, 1959 in Pincher Creek. He was called back home to be with our creator on July 11th, 2023 surrounded by his family. Myron was born to the late Pete and Jane Crow Eagle.
Myron is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Annette, children: Myron Jr., Terrance, Colton (Celsa), Sheldon (Averi), and only daughter, Kirsten (Reginald), grandchildren: Johanna, Tristen, Mason, Joshua, Emma, Cianna, Reagan, Talon and Arale, adopted grandchildren: Blake, Amy, Emerson, Kesler, Cheyann, Eric, sisters: Elizabeth Black Forehead and Karen Brave Rock, numerous nieces and nephews. Myron was very close to his older nephews: Bert Vielle, Dion Stevens, Shawn Stevens and niece: Michelle Crow Eagle.
In 1983, Myron met the love of his life, Annette, and together they had 3 beautiful children. They got married in 2005, and together they had 40 wonderful years.
Myron’s education started from Brocket in his earlier years, from then on he moved to Standoff around 1970. There he attended Lower Standoff School. He also attended in Fort Macleod School, Magrath School and St. Mary’s. In his older years he attended post-secondary programs.
Myron had a lot of passion for sports, he played volleyball, fastball, slow-pitch, golf, hockey and pool. Myron competed in numerous championships throughout his sports day. One of his favorite championship memories was when he won a trip to Las Vegas, with his pool team, the Six Pac.
Myron worked at various labor jobs, to name a few. He worked in Siksika with his late brother-in-law, Walter Stevens and his nephews, building houses. He also worked as a security for the BTDH, and he worked in making the 509 Highway. Myron made his spiritual walk with the Lord in 1989 (Pilgrimage). He always made sure we keep the Lord in our heart.
Myron had unique nicknames for almost all of his nieces and nephews. He had a kind heart. Myron became a Blood Band member in 1990, but he always made sure he visited his extended families from Brocket.
Myron was predeceased by his parents: Pete and Jane Crow Eagle, sisters: Judy, Linda, Ralna, Jayce, brothers: John, Stan, Ronnie, Bobby, adopted daughter: Tanya Marie Black Forehead, aunties: Beatrice, Bridget, and other deceased family members.
Myron is survived by his extended families: Red Young Man, North Peigans, English and Cross Childs, two remaining aunties: Louise English and Georgina.
A Wake Service will be held at Tanner Senior Centre, Cardston on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment to take place at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
