JON TAYLOR DUDLEY, beloved husband of Melissa Dudley, passed away peacefully in Raymond on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 72 years.
Jon was born to George and Alberta Dudley on February 7, 1945 in Magrath. Jon is survived by his wife, and by his children and grandchildren: Greg (Amy) Dudley – Kymberly, Curtis, Katie, Jessica, Rachel, Kayla and Jeremy; Nathan (Raquel) Dudley; Danny (Amy) Dudley – Taylor; Steven (Candice) Dudley; Kristy (Jesse) Dobson – Isaac, Evelyn, Silas, and Sadie. He is also survived by his siblings: Gaylon (Pat) Dudley, Mona (Earl) Smith, Dana (Raeldon) Barker, David (Sharon) Dudley, Grant Dudley, Brent (Regina) Dudley, Patricia (Guy) Lewis, Lori (Terry) Lyons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and extensive extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, by his sisters Janet Christensen and Mary Ann Walker, and by his brothers-in-law Paul Christensen and Morris Walker.
He served in the Central States as an LDS missionary and obtained a degree in Agronomy at BYU in Provo, Utah. Jon was self-employed for most of his career and created beautiful sandblasted signs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, making wood furniture, studying herbs and plants, and listening to music. Jon always tried to be of service to others. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, MAGRATH STAKE CENTER, on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Ryan Anderson conducting. Friends may meet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
