We said goodbye for now to our amazing mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend on August 12, 2024, at the age of 74.
PATRICIA LEA HARKER DUDLEY was born on July 3, 1950, in Magrath, Alberta.
She is survived by her husband Gaylon Dudley and two sisters, Jill Wakefield and Christine Roper. She also had six children, Jennifer Monssen, Trina Cheney, Kristen Taillon, Tricia Taylor, David Kerr, and Kenneth Dudley, as well as 30 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She spent most of her life in Magrath and cared deeply for those in her community. She spent years working with special needs children at the school and loved all of her kids there. She tried hard to make things special and usually did this through food. She was an incredible baker and cook. She was constantly looking for ways to take care of others and never complained when life got hard. Her world was always “just peachy”. She believed in miracles and was full of faith. Above all she loved her family. We love her and will miss her deeply.
Friends may meet the family on Sunday, August 18 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Magrath Stake Center (21 E 1st Ave S.) Magrath, AB. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 11:00 am at the Magrath Stake Center. Friends may also meet the family from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Magrath Cemetery.
