John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
THERESA EAGLE PLUME, (Iitaapiim), beloved wife of the late Patrick Eagle Plume, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Cardston Hospital on March 7, 2020 at the age of 86 years old.
Theresa was born on the Blood Reserve to parents, the late Jack and Maggie Curly Rider. She grew up in Little Chicago and enjoyed attending church with her family. She enjoyed reading her bible, going to church and attending camp meetings.
She began her life with Patrick and together they raised Joey and Bunny (Joyce) in Little Chicago and then moved up to Levern Area. They both enjoyed traveling and many family memories have fond memories of traveling to various parts of the United States and Canada for church. She enjoyed taking care of her late husband, Patrick and spending time with him. They enjoyed listening to music, especially singing along to Hank William Sr and often would sing “Hey good lookin” in Blackfoot. She enjoyed traveling to watch her grandchildren participate in track, baseball, basketball and softball. Iitaapiim was a very caring and loving person. She was a wonderful mother to her children, Joey and Joyce. She ensured her children were well taken care of. She raised her older grandkids and had children who she took as her own. She was a loving Auntie, she cared for all her nieces and nephews, children and grandchildren dearly. She always made sure we ate and were full after a long day of playing outside. Whenever family would see her, she always asked how we have been doing and how our kids were doing. She was a beautiful and kind woman and had many wonderful friends.
