Jon (Jack) Murray Fox
Born May 4,1946 in Halifax Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully October 31, 2024 in Cardston, AB.
Jack is survived by his partner of 50 years, Joanne Joyce (Sindlinger) Fox, Son, Thomas (Jayme) Fox, Daughter, Johanna Fox, Brother, Gerald (Maria, Christopher, Timothy) Fox, Brother, Philip (Elza, Cody) Fox, Grandchildren, Grayson, Merrick and Shayne Fox. Jack was predeceased by his parents Adam and Dorothy Fox and Sister Carolin (Donald) Mayes.
Jack was raised in Calgary, where he met Joanne, the love of his life. They were married in Lethbridge on November 30, 1974.
Jack and Joanne spent many happy years in the Magrath and Onefour communities. Giving back to the communities where he lived was a passion for Jack. He was proud to serve on the Magrath Home and School Council and was called on frequently to service town equipment.
Later in life Jack and Joanne travelled as much as possible, making happy memories that they reflected on often. In retirement, Jack drove school buses for Lethbridge Transit and Westwind School Division. He truly enjoyed every student he was entrusted with.
The Family would like to thank the staff at the Cardston Community Health Centre, Lee Crest and Home Care for their care and compassion.
At Jack’s request there will be no funeral service. Please spend this time with your loved ones.
