It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Kristian Charles Fox “Kimataankimiapii” on April 11, 2026 at the age of 30 years old.
Kristain is survived by his son Trigger Fox, sister Martina Heavy Runner, Grandfather Bill (Mel) Rabbit, grandmothers Mary Fox, and Mary Jo Russell. Mother Figures Kyla Crow, Eva (Lukas) Fox, and Eleanor Badarm, Father Colin bird, adopted Father Figure Quintin Heavy Runner, and God Father Tim Fox, uncles Tom (Krissy) Fox, Dustin (Dee) Fox, Richard, Terry (Jennifer) Ivins, Sonny and Thomas Rabbit, Wakey Rabbit, Aunt Lucynda Rabbit, Great Uncles Duke (Irma) Rabbit, and great aunts Robyn (Joe) Oka, Marleen (Marvin) Yellowhorn, Marsha (Doug) Noterbomner, and many special nieces and nephews from friends and family.
Kristian was an amazing music artist that his friends and fans knew him as LA Capone the greatest Rapper decedent out of Moses Lake. Throughout Kristian’s Elementary, Junior high school and High School Career he was a well known athlete playing his favourite sports football as a running back, and basketball as a point guard. Chicago Bulls was his favourite team and he enjoyed playing and watching sports all the time.
Kristian faced many obstacles and loses in his life but he never dwelled on setbacks. Through the struggle and sadness that he endured in his life, Kristian always found encouraging words for the ones he loved the most. He took pride and dedication in being the care giver to his Papa Rex Bird adopted special siblings Tyler Bird and Harmony Gros Ventre Boy, While Growing up in Moseslake everyone could count on Kristian to help protect his family and friends and to participate in daily hustles. Kristian loved family birthdays and BBQs at Grandma Emma’s running around with his cousins Dalton, Jared, Josh, Colton and Brian getting into plenty of mischievous adventures deep in the coulees at grandma Emma’s house. From moving between Cardston, Lethbridge, and Calgary Kristian always found home, chilling and bringing many joyful memories with his friends he took as brothers all over Southern Alberta.
Kristian’s entrepreneur outlook on life made him a leader in the communities he lived in. Kristain would also love sharing stories growing up with his “Boys” he took as brothers and “Girls” he took as sisters from Moseslake. Kristian was especially excited to welcome his son Trigger into the world and although distance and living situations held him back from being the best father he wanted to be, everyone knew Trigger was his pride and joy.
Kristian was predeceased by his Mother Leanne Fox and Sister Nevada Joy Heavy Runner, who he loved and missed everyday since their passing. It is hard to say goodbye to him but we can find comfort he is with these angels along side with the other predeceased family Papa (Dad) Rex Bird, Godmother Nedra Fox, Brother Blaze Fox and Edward Mills, Grandparents Larry and Patsy Rabbit and Grandmother Emma Many feathers.
Kristians’ awesome sense of humour that he got from his grandpa Bill, his contagious laugh that made everyone smile, his love and protection will be missed by all of us.

A wake service will be at Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve, Alberta on Thursday April 23, 2026 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at One Spot Cemetery.
