KEVIN LEE LITCHFIELD, a free spirit who embraced the open road, passed away in Cardston, Alberta, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Calgary, Alberta, on October 21, 1964, Kevin later settled in Glenwood, making it his home. From a very young age, Kevin showed a passion for music, quickly learning to sing and play his Dad's guitar. At just nine years old, he performed at his sister Cheryl's wedding, the guitar almost as big as he was. This early love of music led him to work behind the scenes as a lighting technician for live performances and bands in his younger years. Kevin's love for animals was also evident from a young age, even keeping a pet skunk. A true outdoorsman, he had a passion for motorbikes and loved exploring mountain trails. His first motorcycle arrived at age 12, and he spent countless hours riding it around the farm. Later, he embraced motocross racing, fearlessly competing and winning numerous races and trophies. His adventurous spirit led him on a cross-Canada motorcycle trip and fueled his desire to explore new places and connect with new people. Kevin also expressed his creativity by designing and making unique fire starters, generously sharing them with friends, family, and his community. Kevin was the son of Dean and Joyce Litchfield, and brother to Cheryl Jensen and Larry Litchfield and boyfriend of Fran Sutherland. He was an uncle and grandfather, he leaves behind his three children, Meagan, Rory, and Chase. Kevin's kind heart, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
