It is with sadness we announce the passing of TAMI LYNNE McCARTHY. Tami passed away in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital Sept 3, 2024. Tami will be deeply missed by her son, Nathan “Nate”. Tami also leaves behind her mom, Lynne Edwards, her siblings Rob (Melissa), Dennis (Mary), Jared, Lynsey (Patrick), and Cory (Marcie), Cylus, her in-laws, Logan and Cheryl McCarthy and her late husband Corey’s brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Tami was predeceased by her loving husband Corey McCarthy, her dad, Robert “Bob” Edwards, her sister-in-law Kimberly Edwards, and Kenisha Flynn Vielle.
Tami was born on January 16, 1976 in the Lethbridge Hospital. Tami graduated High School in Stirling and married the love of her life Corey McCarthy on Sept 8, 2001.
Tami loved being with Corey and Nate as well as her extended family. Tami always tried to convince all her nieces and nephews that she was the “favorite” aunt. It turned out to be quite the competition with her sister Lynsey on who really was the “favorite.” Tami loved the little things in life like making and decorating sugar cookies, pampered chef products, and especially leading the music in primary. She loved the primary kids and they loved her. Tami delighted in serving others, and making them feel special, this was one of her many talents. Tami will be missed by many.
Friends may meet the family on Friday, September 6 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston West Stake Center (On the Waterton Hwy.) Cardston, AB. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 7 in the Stirling Cemetery.
