With great sorrow, but gratitude in our hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, and Auntie, MaryAnn McMillan (nee MacNeill). In the early morning of January 20th, 2026, surrounded by her family, MaryAnn said goodbye to her earthly family and went back to join her heavenly family. MaryAnn is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dave; her 4 children Jodi (Bart), Joel (Tristah), Wayne (Kirsten) and Robin (Travis); her siblings Kit (Wally) and Syd (Carla); her 11 grandbabies Chloe, Hailey, Hunter, Brenna, Hallie, Aleah, Cadha, Ean, Nate, Jacob, and Charlotte; her nieces and nephews Lance (Plusan), Dana (Chris), Todd (Amy), Ashley (Jon), Megan (Alex), Stephen (Daisy) and Tesia (Curtis) and 16 great nieces and nephews she loved like they were her own grandbabies.

Born to her loving parents, Frankie and Neil McNeill August 17th, 1951 in Edmonton, MaryAnn showed us what it meant to live a fulfilling life – one of joy, sass, devotion, and dedication. She met the love of her life working for the RCMP, “K” Division and on August 2nd, 1975, a beautiful love story began. Through the highs and lows of life, MaryAnn never took for granted the importance of family and the essential need to ensure her children were loved. MaryAnn and Dave were blessed to serve a senior couple mission to the Manila Temple in 2017 after having served in the Edmonton Temple.

Our family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff at Cardston Hospital, especially Dr. Eagle Bear and her nurse Travis and others for taking such great care of her during her remaining moments.

If you would like to pay your respects to the family, there will be a gathering Thursday, January 22nd at the Cardston Alberta Stake Centre in the Relief Society room from 6-8pm.

If you wish, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to Liver Canada.
