With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our precious daughter, A’ja Medicine Crane, who was born sleeping on June 9, 2025. Though she never took a breath in this world, A’ja’s presence left an eternal imprint on the hearts of all who were waiting to welcome her.
A’ja was a long-awaited and deeply cherished child, carried with love and anticipation. In her brief time with us, she brought families together, awakened the deepest kind of love, and reminded us of the fragility and sacredness of life.
She is mourned by her loving parents, Sunny Medicine Crane and Laney Oka; her siblings, Aubree, Zuri, Kawhi, Gianna, Lyric, Anthony, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
A'ja Medicine Crane is predeceased by her grandparents, Esther rides at the door, Oliver Shouting, Alvin Medicine Crane Sr, Leslie mills. Auntie's Tara Bird, Joyce Medicine Crane. Uncles, Frank Medicine Crane, Merlin Medicine Crane. Thomas Medicine Crane.
Although our arms are empty, our hearts are full of her. We grieve not only the loss of her life, but the loss of every moment we dreamed of sharing with her. We will love her always, and remember her in the wind, the stars, and the quiet moments between.
A Funeral Service will be held to honor Baby A’ja’s life and spirit on Monday, June 16 at 1:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Home. A’ja will be laid to rest in Pioneer Cemetery, Levern following the service.
