
It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aaliyah Mikelin Mountain Horse on Sunday July 2, 2023. Aaliyah was a kind loving sister, Auntie, niece, friend and Granddaughter.
Aaliyah was born on June 5, 2003 to the late Michael and Joyce Mountain Horse (Dayrider).
Aaliyah received her education at the Levern Elementary School,TMS and Kainai High School.
Aaliyah loved playing basketball she would be so proud to be a basketball player. She loved to travel and go on adventures and explore many places with her brother Miley and his little family. Her favourite place was the mountains and she loved listening to music, she we’ll be missed by all family friends and relatives.

A Candlelight Vigil for Aaliya was held on Friday, July 7 at 6:00 pm at Alice Wolf Child’s residence, Moses Lake. A Wake Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, July 14 from 7:00 - 11:00 pm continuing all night at Bernadine Mountain Horse’s residence. The Funeral Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall on Saturday, July 15 at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
