It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and mother Jocelyn Nicole Panther Bone on June 1, 2025, in Calgary AB, at the age of 32 years.

Jocelyn was born on July 11, 1992, at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital to her loving parents Rex Twigg and the Late Theresa Panther Bone. Jocelyn is survived by her children Taylor, Bently and Zaylee, her father Rex, her brothers Cameron (Melissa) Shouting, Blair Twigg, John (Alexandra) Twigg, Charles (Stephani) Panther Bone, Terrance Panther Bone and Micheal Panther Bone, her only sister Candace (Ivan) Chief Moon. Her cherished nephews and nieces: Dylan, Skyler, Aiden, Maximus, Blaze, Taylor, Gary, Sadeh, Kobe, Hailey, Dayton, Ana, Akaiyah, Aleiress, Emma, Aidin, and Owen. Jocelyn is also survived by her great nephew and niece Remington and Kyomi. Paternal Uncles Floyd (Ethel) Plume, Jim (Darlene) Plume, and Clifford (Butch) Twigg. Paternal Aunties Deana Plume, Charlene (Roger) Prairie Chicken, and Jacqueline Plume. Her maternal aunties Trudy Panther Bone, and Treena (Sam) Wolf Leg. Maternal uncles Mike Panther Bone, and Leo Panther Bone, maternal grandmother Justine Panther Bone. Jocelyn is also survived numerous cousins that she held very to dear her.

Jocelyn was predeceased by her loving mother Theresa Panther Bone, paternal grandparents Dean and Theresa Plume. Maternal grandparents Gordon Plain Woman, Maternal uncles Percy Panther Bone.

Jocelyn started her educational journey in Standoff, next attended school in Fort Macleod, then attended school in Calgary. Jocelyn ended her educational journey when she graduated from high school in Okotoks.

Jocelyn lived on the Blood Reserve with her mother, father and siblings. She lived in Calgary with her mother and brothers. Her residence in Okotoks was with her foster parents Bell and John Larocque. She then moved Lethbridge to reconnect with family, while there she a little kinder surprise of her own, which was Taylor. Later years she lived in Brooks with Tyler Lawrence and had her two beautiful babies Bently and Zaylee.

Jocelyn loved her hobbies of drawing, cosmetology, beading, and cooking. But her most favorite thing in the world was being a mother to her children Taylor, Bently and Zaylee.  Jocelyn had a very strong maternal instinct for any children that she encountered.
Jocelyn’s memory will always be remembered and cherished by her beloved children Taylor, Bently and Zaylee, and her family and friends.

The family would like to apologize for and names that they may have missed. 

​A Wake Service will be held on Friday, June 13 from 7:00 – 11:00 pm at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 am at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve.  Interment to follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Stand Off, AB.
