
It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the sudden passing of Lisa Panther Bone born May 2, 1964 went home February 16, 2023.
Lisa was born at the Indian hospital on the blood reserve. She attended Cardston elementary school then transferred to St Mary’s where she did her junior/senior high years. She enjoyed volleyball and track and field while in school. After graduation she met the love of her life James Bull Shields. Lisa loved to read and do her beadwork Lisa and Celestine love to watch monkey videos on you tube. Her loved for cooking showed as she always showed up at family gatherings with her potato salad.
Lisa leaves behind her sisters Celestine Panther Bone, Violet and Frances Heavy Runner; Brothers Brian, Elroy, Joe, Mike, and Dwight Panther Bone, Richard Cole and Alphone Standing Alone; Her children Kristen and Nathan Panther Bone; adopted sons Myles and Dane Frank; god daughter Alana Bird; her grandchildren whom she cherished Keenan Alysa Kanye and Shason. Lisa loved her extended family aunts and uncles Vera Eagle Plume, Pearl Heavy Runner, Evelyn Molly, Martha, Donna, Mary, Terri, Rebecca Many Grey Horses, Lawrence ‘Bones’ (Joan) ,Lambert (Carol) Panther Bone and Andrew Bull Calf. Lastly her special auntie/mom Justine Stimson (Panther Bone).
Welcoming Lisa home will be her parents Louis and Maggie Panther Bone, her son Tylan Panther Bone and her beloved husband James Bull Shields. Grandparents Holy White Man, Paternal Albert and Winnie Panther Bone grandmother Ruth Many Grey Horses. Aunties and uncles Pasty and Kathleen Panther Bone, Margaret Morning Owl, Emma Many Feathers, Eva Spotted Bull, Cecelia Wolf Child, Elizabeth Bull Shields, Holly Bull Calf, Ruby Eagle Child, Kathleen Holy White Man. Uncles Raymond and Kenneth (bones) Panther Bone and Melvin Many Grey Horses. Sisters Pearline Dolly (Anna Marie) Panther Bone, Margaret Holy White Man, Martina Shot Both Sides, brother Louis jr Panther Bone. Cousins Cecil and Joe Holy White Man, Sonny Bull Shields, Wendy White Quills and Peggy Bull Shields.

A Wake Service will be held at Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 12:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, March 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s cemetery.
