DARRYLL BLAKE PARSONS passed away on March 7, 2020 in Coalhurst, AB at the age of 42 years.  Darryll is the beloved husband of Sandy Weasel Fat, father to Skyla, Kaleb, Wyett, Summer, Blake and Markus. He is the son of Jenny (the late Dave Parsons), and a brother to Jeff (Charlene).  Darryll was raised in Calgary up to the age of 16 or 17 then he moved to Cardston, AB to live with Grandma Molly Sweet Grass. Living with Grandma Molly he was able to attend school out at St. Mary’s school for one school year. Then he moved back to Calgary. Darryl started working construction at a very young age following his brother Jeff’s footsteps. He worked at G.W. Cox, Lethbridge, Degraff in Lethbridge, Emerd Excavating Lethbridge, North Side Construction Red Deer, which eventually led to opening up his own business Arrow Head Construction on the Blood Reserve. This business ran for a couple of years.  In 2011, Darryll and Sandy met and started their family. At this time Darryll was working at the Van Herk’s feed lot. Also at this time Darryll started mining for ammolite. This was a favorite past time and eventually he began making jewellery with it, which he sold all over.  This helped Darryll make friends world wide.  Darryll is survived by maternal nephews, Kyler, Bailey, and Cole. His in-laws, Carolyn Weaselfat, A.J. Weaselfat, Nancy Weaselfat (the late Myles Wells); nieces and nephews, Mykal, Taylor, Tank, A.J. (Jr.), Hannah, Miley, and Badger; uncles Marvin Parsons, Rodney (Anne) Healy, Tom Healy; aunties, Doreen, LeeAnn (Hugo), and Sandra Healy.  On his paternal side Darryll was predeceased by Dad Dave Parsons; uncles, Arthur Jr., Grant Parsons; grandparents, Arthur and Ena Parsons. On his maternal side his grandma Molly and grandpa Stan Healy. Darryll will be greatly missed and forever remembered by the Parsons, the Singers, the Healys, the Sweet Grass family, the Weasel Fat family, the Mountain Horse family, and lots of friends.  Darryll was kind, compassionate and empathetic to everyone. Therefore, he had a lot of friends.   

A Family Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, March 17th at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Wake Service at the White Calf Hall, Standoff  from 7:00 - 11:00 p. m.  The Funeral Service will be at the White Calf Hall on Wednesday, March 18th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in the One Spot Cemetery.   Meal to follow the service at White Calf Hall. ​ Condolences may be sent by CLICKING HERE.
