ELDON SALMON PAXMAN, was born April 9, 1927 in Raymond, Alberta. He passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday January 17, 2021 at the age of 93. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Eldon joined the Canadian Armed forces at age 17, near the conclusion of World War II. Three years later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Eastern Canada. After his mission, he attended SAIT Calgary (Automotive Service Engineering). Two years later re-enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Electrical Mechanical Engineer. That same year he met and married his wife Rosanna Moore on August 29, 1956 in the Cardston Alberta Temple. During the military, Eldon was posted to Egypt for one year and Germany for three years. After retirement from his Military Services of 15 years, he worked in various professions. He ended his career working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a Mechanical Custodian, as well as a self-employed locksmith. Children; Debbie Greep (Glen), Lloyd Paxman, Larry Paxman, Keith Paxman (Joy), David Paxman (Heather), Floyd Paxman.
Private Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Cardston Cemetery. Due to COVID -19 a Private Family Service was held.
