PAXMAN, Rosanna was born in Champion, Alberta, on July 17, 1933. She passed away in Calgary, Alberta, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 92. She will be greatly missed by
many friends and family. She was the fifth of eight children and grew up in Canyon, B.C.; Glenwood, Alberta; and Cardston, Alberta, She married Eldon Paxman on August 19, 1956, in the Cardston Alberta Temple. Shortly after their marriage, Eldon enlisted in the army, and they lived in Kingston,Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; and spent three years posted in Germany. A few years after retiring from the military, they moved to Cardston, where they lived for over 40 years. In her lifetime, she enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her garden. Her favorite times were picking vegetables in the summer with her grandchildren and camping in Waterton. Rosanna's sweet spirit was evident to all who knew her. She is survived by five children: Debbie Greep (Glen), Larry Paxman, Keith Paxman (Joy), David Paxman (Heather), and Floyd Paxman. Lloyd Paxman died at birth. The Funeral Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Cardston Alberta, on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at Legacy from 10:00 - 10:45 am, prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Cardston Cemetery. |
