It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua Albert Raynard Plain Woman (Iiskaanoohkowa - Everyone is Waiting) on October 28, 2021. He entered this world on his own time and blessed us with his presence on August 5, 1988. He is survived by his pride and joys Junebug, Greyson, Linda, Ziggy, Lettie, Lucinta, Rayden, Aria, Kyrie, and Yazzy. Joshua made everyone wait for his arrival and came into this world a miracle to our family and friends. He grew up in the Levern area with all his cousins and his special bro the late Reno Shouting; they were inseparable and did everything together. Joshua received his education on all the reservation schools where he met numerous friends he adopted as his brothers and sisters. He enjoyed numerous sports but mostly hockey, you could also find him swimming and skating in the ditches of Levern or riding a quad with Bryce and Phillip. During his time growing up in Levern he was always the first one up and the last one home. He travelled to many places with family and friends. Joshua was very talented on his guitar and could play almost any song he listened to, he also briefly played in his brother’s band, Killing Redemption and played at numerous venues. He spent a lot of time at his uncle Lloyd and auntie Karen’s residence where he learned numerous skills such as hunting, fishing, carpentry work, ranch work that prepared him for future endeavours. He spent much of his adolescence at John and Delia’s residence. When he joined the workforce, he already had the skills and knowledge from working with his uncle Lloyd and brothers who did numerous roofs on the reservation and surrounding areas. Josh worked with different companies such as Fly by Night, SRI Homes, Blood Tribe Housing where he travelled to Fort Mckay Reservation to help build homes. He spent the remainder of his life working for Triple M Housing. Josh had a lot of interest such as music like Slipknot, Killswitch, Engage, Volbeat, and numerous other metal bands. Riding horses at his uncle Lloyd’s with his bro’s. Fishing, hunting, quadding, working on vehicles with his dad and brother Gregory. He enjoyed watching UFC with his family and friends. He loved spending time and teaching his boys Junebug and Greyson many things such as fighting and fixing vehicles, watching sports, and playing games. Joshua was a very kind and gentle person; well known for his sense of humor, making stuff on the spot to make everyone laugh or even roast them a bit, having many friends from all over the place. He was talented and smart and enjoyed many things. He was the baby of his family and shared a special bond with all his siblings. Josh was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him, and he will be greatly missed by so many.

The Wake Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, November 19th from 7:00 - continuing all night. The Funeral Service will take place at Senator Gladstone Hall on Saturday, November 20th at 12:00 pm.
