WENDY LEE PRETE, passed away peacefully in Cardston, Alberta on November 27, 2023.
She was born in Cardston on April 20, 1953, and was a farm girl through and through. Wendy loved gardening and was a talented cook. She had a deep love for cats, Christmas, and practical jokes, which sustained and entertained her through many difficult years. She loved serving those around her and always noticed when people were hurting or lonely. She would do anything possible to lift their burdens and love them. 
Her deepest love was reserved for her children and grandchildren. They were her heart and soul and she never missed a birthday, anniversary, or important event. Our mom has left us with many important life lessons: Have patience through hardship, show grace in the face of sorrow, laughter will cure most things, and always forgive quickly. However; the most valuable thing she left our family is her deep and abiding testimony of the Savior. She loved him. He was her comfort through a lifetime of hardships. His light shone brightly through her! 
Wendy is predeceased by her mother, Fern, her father, Oscar, her son, Michael, and her sisters, Dorothy, Jolayne, and Teri-Jean. She leaves behind her beloved children Jenn (Spencer) Olsen, Jeremy (Sarah) Prete, and Telena (Rob) Williams as well as 20 grand and great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Cardston Cemetery on Thursday, November 30th, at 2:00 p.m.
