
It is with great sadness that we annouce the sudden passing of Christopher Sean Rabbit. Born December 20, 1990 in Calgary Alberta, Passed Away December 14, 2022 on the Blood Reserve.
Much loved by his parents Micheline and the late Andrew Rabbit. His sisters Celina Rabbit (Todd), Larissa Rabbit; His brothers Andrew Jr (Shontea), Scotty Gros Ventre Boy (Jodie), Randis Big Tobacco, Quinton Bull Bear (Lydia), Shay Mistaken Chief. His neices and nephews that he cared alot for. Destiny and Christopher Weasel Moccasin, Layla, Stacey and Karl Russell, He had a special bond with Karl, Chris always made sure he was fed and always cooked him something. And his Cat Nuts that he really loved. He is also survived by his aunts Michelle (Brian) Stacey, uncles Bruce (Trina), Wayne and Norman.
Chris Attended schools in Lavern Elementary School, Middle school and Kainai High school. Chris had the privilege of playing minor hockey from pre novice to midgets. Played on the reserve most of his hockey except one year with Fort Macleod and won many awards.
Chris was very quiet and private person with many talents, playing his guitar, playing anything from classical, rock, and gospel. He played a lot of Nirvana, Led Zepplen, Johnny Cash, and many others.
He took great pride in his art, he did all his art freehand.
Chris is predeceased by his father Andrew; sisters Vanessa, Angela and Andrea; Brother Andre; uncles Curtis; James, Michael, Joseph, and Robert Rabbit; aunts LeeAnn White Eagle, Cheryl Iron Shirt, Brenda Day Chief; Grandparents Joe & Celina Rabbit, Michael & Roberta White Eagle.

A Wake Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, December 27 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, December 28 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Rabbit family Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.
