
RALPH SALT, beloved husband of Fran Salt passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Cardston Hospital at the age of 85 years. Ralph was born June 12, 1937 in Cardston, Alberta.
Ralph was a man of intelligence, wisdom, and had a vast knowledge of the area around the Ranch, Cardston, and Waterton. He had a love for hiking, camping, target shooting, hunting, and skiing. Ralph also had an avid interest in politics, nature, science and history.
Ralph was a pillar in the church and community serving with several organizations, St. Theresa’s Church, 4-H Leader, Gas Co-op Board Member, Alberta Cattle Commission and Boundary Creek Landowners Association.
Ralph is survived by the love of his life, Fran and his three children, Warren (Bobbie), Tanya (Lyle) and Graham (Jennifer) and six grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Natalie, Gabrielle, Hayley, Addison, and Hudson. He is also survived by his two sisters Carol (Rich) and Mary Jane (Stan) and multiple nieces and nephews.
Ralph was pre-deceased by his parents George and Lorraine and two brothers, Robert and Donald.
Ralph will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and many friends.
Heaven gained a good man on Wednesday.

The Funeral Service will be held at the South Hill Chapel, (950 Main Street) Cardston, Alberta on Monday, May 1st, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with Father Benedicto A. Tugano Officiating. Interment in the Cardston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
