It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, brother, grandfather, cousin and friend. Bruce Adrian Shouting he lost his courageous battle against cancer on June 2 2025 surrounded by his children and loved ones at st Micheal's pallative care unit. 
Bruce was born on September 22 1960 to Ambrose Jr Shouting and Julia Shouting (Morning Owl/Black Plume). Bruce went to St. Paul's Residential School for kindergarten but after the death of his kid sister Nora Shouting he dropped out. Hе had a very close bond with her. Her death affected him at such a young age, he never got over the passing. He then attended Lavern Elementary School. He went to St. Mary's Residential School and St. Mary's High School. Bruce worked at Kainai Industries as a plumber. He worked on the St Mary's dam construction with Ron, Chuck, Roy and Jim Sugai as a rodbuster. He continued to work with the Sugai brothers on numerous job projects. Bruce couldn't be labelled with just one specific job title because he was skilled in different areas. For example he want to Yakima, Teton and Washington to pick apples with his parents and his brother Arnold. He broke horses for Caba Yellowface as a ranch hand and was also a bull rider. Bruce worked on the railway, removing railway tiles. 
Bruce was a good athlete, he joined fastball with his brothers Arnold, Horace, coach Donald Shot Both Sides. Their team was called the braves. They won a few championship trophies in the surrounding areas, brocket, siksika, Moses Lake and Lavern. As a young boy, Bruce joined boxing with his brother Arnold. Their coach was uncle Harrison Black Plume. They both won trophies at the Senator Gladstone Hall. 
Bruce was a fun loving, kind and generous person. He will be dearly missed by everyone he loved and knew. 
Bruce is survived by his children, daughters Andrea Curly Rider, Allison (Shawn) Gros Venture Boy. His sons Godfrey Shouting and Dallas (Kendra) Shouting. Bruce's adopted children, Shyanne Plain Women, Tara Michelle Shouting, Charlotte (Ross) Blood, Kendall Shot Both Sides, Jasmine (Lynn) Red Crow, Dustin (Sharlee) Red Crow, Shasta Day Chief. Bruce loved his children and always made time to be with his grandchildren, Laura, ophelia, Axton, Courtney, Marcus, Elaine, Joria and Zenai Heavy Head, Reagan, Hayton, Kara and Urijah Shouting. Bruce's siblings Arnold (Cheryl), Horace (Lenora) and Daryl (Rebecca) Shouting, Lloyd (Karen) Chief Calf, brother in-law Donald Shot Both Sides. His remaining younger sister Yvette Shouting. Adopted sister Corine (Marvin) Smith. 
Bruce was predeceased by his beloved daughter Courtney Gros Ventre Boy, his grandbabies; DaShawn, Aiden and Philip Gros Ventre Boy. Bruce's parents; Ambrose Jr and Julia Shouting. Sisters Angela, Nora Shouting and Mavis Shot Both Sides. Younger brother Allen Shouting. Nieces Shyanne Plain Women, Shayla Shouting and Delia Shouting. Nephews, Ryan Shouting, Reno Shouting. Great Niece Kristen Scout. Great nephew Dash Weasel Head. 
Bruce leaves behind relatives from the Black Plume, Shouting, Morning Owl, Soop, Many Fingers, Low Horn, Shades and Fox families. 
The family regrets if any names were missed. Bruce will forever be remembered. 

 
A Wake Service will be held from 7:00 - 11:00 pm on Thursday June 12, 2025 at Levern Community Hall, Blood Reserve. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 13, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve. Interment will take place at Pioneer Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
