Kim Bruce Smallface was born on July 2nd 1960 to Laverne Strangling Wolf-Smallface and Charles Smallface, in the Moses Lake area of the Blood reserve. After attending Cardston High School, he went on to study at Red Crow Community College, where he excelled academically. Kim had one child, Loni Laverne White, with Louise Dempsey, two grandchildren, Shantelle Holt and Aliyah White, and a great-granddaughter, Chihiro Holt Smith.
Kim was an outgoing, funny and loving man. People gravitated to him; he always had visitors at his home. Kim didn’t like to cook but loved the snacks, his home was always spotless. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing basketball and billiards. Charlie and Marge enjoyed having him over for dinner during the holidays. They remember the last visit when he stayed late to spend time with his father, watching television. He often gave thoughtful cards and gifts to his father and Marg, and he will be deeply missed at future family gatherings. Kim was predeceased by his mother, Laverne; brother Curtis Smallface; sister, Norma Smallface, Grand parents Emil and Olive Smallface; His Aunts Marie Smallface Marule, Hazel Minyard and Peggy Smallface; Uncles Emil, Jr “Mouse" Smallface, Allen "Tiny" Smallface, and Bob Gervais; cousin June Gervais and Casey Singer; and nephew Curtis Smallface. Kim is survived by his father, Charles Smallface; his daughter, Lonnie White; his grandchildren, Shantelle Holt and Aliyah White; and a great-granddaughter, Chihiro Holt Smith; brother Joe Panther Bone; sister Nikki White Quills, Billy-Jo Onespot, Kimberly Bruised Head, and Jody Fox; his Aunt Laura Gervais; nieces and nephews: Tyler and Charnelle Smallface; Kristen Minyard, Jaden Standing Alone, Kylar Smallface, Alexander Smallface, Tyeela Smallface and Giana (Gigi) Many Fingers; Ricky Standing Alone; Raven Smallface, Kristen Smallface, Shania Smallface, Brittany White Quills, Sasha White Quills and Shereese White Quills; Dillon Heavy Runner and Jared Panther Bone. Cousins: Tsuaki Marule, Debbie Minyard Marule, Refilwe (Fee) Marule -McLean, JR Mason, Tom Gervais and many more. Kim had so many friends and family who he cared for and loved.
