CONNIE STEED, beloved wife of the late Glen Steed, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2020 at the age of 89. Born, Constance Mae Fisher, on December 29, 1930 in Cardston, Alberta, Connie loved many activities including hiking, painting, reading, picnics in Waterton, music, organizing outings, decorating for special events and serving others. She was known for her dedicated service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and really enjoyed working with the young women (especially girls’ camp). Connie loved spring wild flowers and her favourite time of year was Christmas. She was always happy and positive.
Connie was predeceased by her husband Glen, parents Glen & Holly Fisher, baby sister Sheila, sister Ruthie Rice (Leonard) and brother-in-law Ben Tanner. She is survived by three siblings, Barbara Tanner, Gary Fisher (Carole) and Dianne deMik (Greg) as well as her three children, Larry Steed (June), Colette Armsworthy (Walter) and Shauna Anderson (Dale)...twelve grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Her family wishes to thank friends and relatives that have been so supportive of her as well as Dr. Low and the staff of Good Samaritan Lee Crest for their tender care these past few years. She will be dearly missed but as Mom would say, “See you in the funnies.”
