
Marion Elizabeth Annie Tone passed away suddenly on November 29, 2023 in Raymond, AB at the age of 73 years, with her sister Linda by her side. Marion grew up in Success, Saskatchewan, loving life on the farm. She was the oldest daughter of Bill and Annie Tone and enjoyed helping out with her siblings. She was like a second mother to them. Marion loved politics and was very involved in educating the community. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She enjoyed holding her new grandbabies and would often sing to them and leave lipstick kisses all over their tiny faces. Marion was known for her singing voice, her ability to hold beautiful gatherings and create deliciously huge meals. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and loved to represent Him in all that she did. She was survived by her daughters, Kym (Adam) Wood, Tasha (Dave) Reeve, Kelly Peavoy, and Vanessa (Jacob) Skinner; son, Bill (Kym) Peavoy; 31 grandchildren, Kayla (Drew), Taylor (Mauresa), Spencer (Lily), Benson, McKay, Victoria, Morgan (Kyle), Joe (Abby), Tanner (Eliza), Jasmine (Willy), Faith, Roman, Annie, Liam (Hope), Ezra, Mosiah, Obadiah, Hyrum, Rosena, Jedi, Ellie, Ginny, Rudy, Carl, Andy, Mickey, Sonny, Nyomi, Harmony, Trinity, and Jubilee; 8 great grandchildren, Jacob, Clarissa, Amelia, Eliza, Anna, Della Mae, Dean, and Morris; her sisters Linda Fleck, Sanda Knapp, Chistina Albers, Glenda Tagg, Carla Murray, and Della Curry; brother Don Tone; and many nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her parents Annie and Bill Tone; and her brothers Bruce, Kenneth, and Bob Tone.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Temple Street Chapel, Cardston. Friends may meet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
