At an early age, Evander was raised by Emily (Mugs) Good Striker, whom he referred to as “Mom” and was always so loving and concerned of her wellbeing. He enjoyed joking with and teasing his grandma which was always in good fun and never mean-spirited. Evander also had a very close bond and relationship with his little brother Tabor and son Marley, always wanting to play video games, watch movies and spend time with them. Once Tabor’s son Alexander was born Evander was like a second dad to Alex. Helping his brother Tabor raise and look after Alex as a newborn and toddler. Evander cared dearly for his family and had always encouraged them to succeed in life. Evander was also very close to his parents, Charlie Twigg and Sonya Good Striker, having spent a lot of time together, which made losing them very difficult for him. Luckily, he had the support of his very close sibling-like friends: Jamie Bruised Head, Jamie Okemaysim, Tye Day chief, Todd Knowlton, Lucinda Rabbit, Blake Yellow Horn, the late Allison Knowlton and his loving wife Julia Okemaysim. Evander was very much like his dad Charlie, always yapping away and being the loudest in the room -- many would agree he was the life of the party. Evander will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family.
