It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary individual who touched the lives of countless family members, patients, peers, and friends.
Born on January 14, 1978, in Cardston, Alberta, Scott was the beloved son of Rod and Janice Walburger, and grew up on the family ranch outside of Leavitt, Alberta. On March 30, 2001, Scott married the love of his life, Mandy Scott, in Cardston, Alberta, and together they embarked on a journey filled with children, laughter, and exciting new experiences.
Scott was a friend to all, effortlessly making everyone around him feel comfortable and valued. His greatest pride and joy were his three children, Raeley, Mya, and Cason, with whom he shared a deep and meaningful bond. He was always willing to listen and offer guidance to them through life's ups and downs. His daughters found it hilarious to share all the gossip with him and he enjoyed every minute of it.
Scott's zest for life was evident in his many passions and hobbies, which ranged from dirt biking to snowmobiling, mountain biking to boating, and golfing to hockey. Spending time sharing exciting activities with his family, his coworkers, or his friends was always time well spent in Scott’s eyes. He inherited his love for motorsports from his father and cherished the idea of passing on this passion to his son, Cason.
Never one to sit still, Scott was constantly seeking new experiences and challenges to conquer. He began his career as a journeyman small engine mechanic before pursuing his dreams of becoming a Denturist. After practicing for seven years, he furthered his education to fulfill his aspiration of becoming a Dentist, specializing in implants and surgery. His relentless pursuit of self-improvement and excellence was a testament to his dedication and determination.
Scott was more than just a Dentist; he was a beacon of healing, education, and unwavering dedication to the highest standard of care. For decades, he selflessly served our community, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of crossing his path.
As we reflect on his legacy, we are reminded of the profound impact he had on his Dental Clinic family. Scott was not only a boss but a friend to his Team members he led at his three clinics, Lethbridge Dental Services South, Crossings Dental and Medicine Hat Dental. His kindness, wisdom, and genuine care touched everyone around him, fostering a sense of unity and belonging that will forever be cherished.
