DAVID JOHN WALKER, was born May 14,1939 and passed away peacefully November 13, 2022 in Cardston Alberta surrounded by loved ones.
Dave was predeceased by his siblings Ken Walker and Ethel Luft and his wife Opal Walker. He is survived by his wife Carol, his sister Norma Oberkirsch (Grant) his children Deb Roberts (George Erickson), Ian Walker, Karen Merrill (Mitch) Lori Thomson (Roger) Tracy Millward (Kelly) and Judy Ratke (Mark).
Dave had 19 grandchildren that will miss him greatly - Kayla, Shawna, Myke, Corey, Nicki (Cookie), Brandon, Riley, Cody, Carley, Mandi, Melissa, Keston, Braeli, Jaime, Laycee, Josey, Rylen, Ryder and Cooper.  He loved spending time teaching his grandsons to hunt and having someone new to hear all of his hunting stories.  He is also survived by his 42 great grandchildren and has a set of twin great great grandchildren that are to be born in April.
Dave loved was avid hunter, a cowboy and a family man he had many close friends over the years that are going to miss him as well.  A celebration of Dave’s amazing life will be held at the Hill Spring Community Centre on November 20, 2022 at 4 pm.  Family and close friends are invited to come for great food and great company and share their memories of Dave.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice in his honour.
