It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Phillip (Philly) Kim Wells of the Blood Reserve on August 17, 2021 at the age of 35 years. Phillip was called home suddenly in Calgary, AB while at home with his mother and daughter.
Phillip will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his daughter Isadora Lily, his mother Ardith; his siblings Jami, Brett, Shayne, Jeremy, Charles and Charity; and great aunts Beauty and Harriet. Phillip loved his nieces and nephews Mercedes, Pias, Anashe, Brett Jr, Bristen, Kaydence, Isaiah, Kobe, and Kaylilah. Phillip had an incredible sense of humor, he could lift up everyone’s spirit in any situation. Phillip also had many close bros, sisters, and friends.
Phillip received his high school diploma from St. Anne's and furthered his education through Mount Royal University. He also obtained various certificates and safety tickets while he was employed in the Construction field and Oil & Gas Sector. Phillip enjoyed playing the guitar, and writing his thoughts and ideas in his journal.
Phillip was very generous, kind-hearted and humble. He had a sensitive nature about him, he would light up any room he was in with his humor and good looks.
Phillip enjoyed travelling, some of his favorite places were Mexico and Vancouver, BC. Phillip was an awesome cook, an avid foodie, and he enjoyed trying all types of food from various cultures.
Phillip was predeceased by his dad Phillip Kim Harris; Grandfather Arthur Wells; Grandmother Clara Wolftail, uncles Albert, and Bob; aunties Edith, Mary Jane, and Rosaline; and Great Grandparents James & Annie Wells.
Phillip leaves behind numerous family members and friends who were very dear to him from the Blood Tribe; Siksika; Browning; and Tsuu T'ina.
A Wake service will be held at the Tanner Senior Center, Cardston, Alberta on Friday, August 27 from 5:00 - 11:00 pm . The Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, August 28 at 11:00 am.
