Naomi Jewel (Na’toyii’sa’ka’tsim) White Quills-Bullshields, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2023, in Lethbridge at the age of 25 years. Naomi was born in Cardston, Alberta on November 4th, 1997.
Our beloved Naomi Jewel was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Naomi leaves behind a son, Lamont, along with his mother Dawn English. Parents Jayson Bullshields, Jody White Quills, Siblings: Kyle, Jerome, Savannah (Travis), Courtny, and Jacinta. Grandparents Jeffrey and Vicky Bullshields. Aunties Heather White Quills, Marilyn (Corey) Goodstriker, Beverley (Lester) Twigg. Uncles Vince and Dana White Quills and Dustin McInnis. Great Aunties Janis (Clifford) Manyheads (Siksika, AB), Kathy Four Horns (Calgary, AB) and Audrey Matt (Anchorage, Alaska), and Great Uncle Leo Rocky White Quills Jr. (Lethbridge)
Naomi was predeceased by her brother Colin White Quills-Bullshields, Grandfather Phillip Aberdeen Jr, Grandmother Patsy White Quills, Great grandparents Alvina (Reggie) Crop Eared Wolf, Leo White Quills Sr., Phillip Sr. and Daisy Aberdeen and Great Aunties Dolly Trotchie and Bev White Quills; Great Grandparents Charlie and Irene Bullshields, Great Grandparents Narcisse and Mary Blood, Great Uncle Narcisse Blood, Robert(Binky) Blood (Note: double check this part with Jayson or by the Bullshields Family) and numerous cousins, aunties, uncles on the White Quills-Bullshields families.
Naomi attended schools in Calgary prior to moving south to Lethbridge. She was a spontaneous person whose aura was one of happiness and she loved her friends very much. Naomi had an incredibly beautiful smile that everyone around her loved. She had a truly kind heart, and she was an unbelievably beautiful friendly young woman. Although Naomi may have left us, she will always remain in the hearts of those that loved her. May our Naomi rest in peace. We apologize if we missed any friends and families. Naomi had a very large extended relations from both the White Quills and Bullshields families.
A Wake Service will be held at the Tanner Center, Cardston (260 1 St W) on Tuesday, March 21 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, March 22 at 11:00 am.
