It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce, “Ksiksskinnaki” Tracy Lee White Quills – Vare has passed away peacefully at home by the side of her husband on Saturday March 23, 2024 in Cardston alberta at the age of 44.
She leaves to mourn her husband Ricky and her cherished daughter Tahnee (Rylan) and beloved grandchildren; Harlow, Braxton, Briggs and Baylor. Her Sister Deonne and her Children whom she loved as her own; Darion, Cassi and Benjamin. Her brothers; Colin, Kelly (Trish), Dustin (Delma) and nieces; Kaily and Rylee; Nephew Noah; immediate family, Wadsworth, White Quills, Bullshields and Holy White Man families; and numerous other family and friends. She was well known and loved by many, too many to mention at this time but the family recognizes the significance of them as a part of her life.
In her teen years she was a member of the IRCA Rodeo association, where she won numerous awards for barrel racing. She attended CHS in Cardston where she found her love of Basketball. She enjoyed painting and drawing by the side of her dad. Soon after the birth of her daughter Tahnee, whom she was devoted to and treasured so much, she was inspired to begin beading and sewing regalia. This passion bloomed into her business “ “. Tracy and Ricky spent a lot of time in with their grandchildren, who she loved dearly with all her hear and cherished each moment with them.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lethbridge Hospital, her dialysis team, Blood Tribe transporation, and the Lethbridge Hospital for their care and compassion for Tracy. A special thanks to Colin (Brother-in-law) for all the years of his love and care towards her.
A Wake Service will be held for Tracy on Monday, April 1 at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston from 6:30 – 10:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 2 at Legacy Funeral Home at 11:00 am. The Interment will take place at the White Quills Family Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
