KRISTA LEE SCOUT-WOLF CHILD
April 20, 1985 - October 30, 2018
It is with the greatest sadness that the parents, Lionel Peyachew and Sandra Scout, announce their daughter’s passing,
KRISTA LEE SCOUT-WOLF CHILD. Krista aka “Kuddles” passed away at the “Regina General”. Krista was born at the Cardston Municipal Hospital on April 20, 1985. She was a very smart child & gave a lot of people some things to talk about - like when she walked at the age of 7 months. Krista lived her life to the fullest & had fun living life. We remember telling her o slow down & how she’s trying to live life too fast - “Slow Down”. Now we understand why she did - her life span would be short lived.
She also resided in Regina, SK for the last 2 years. Krista will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet her. She has so many besties, as she lived in so many different cities. Krista was most definitely not afraid to do something new.
Krista was raising her 3 children in Regina at the time of her passing. Being a single Mom, she worked out of her home so as not to leave her children at a day care or with babysitters. Krista’s plans were to go back to business school and open her own salon/dress shop. She loved to sew and do hair. She made many regaria’s of all ages & sizes for the next pow-wow. She was honored to see the next toddler champ dance out with her fancy designs. Anyone who knew Krista knew her as this bubbly social butterfly but what made her day was her beautiful boys who were quite the handful at the ages of 4 & 5 - making Krista quite the athlete.
Krista’s mumbandra ,also know as her Besty, spent most of 2018 together. It’s as if she knew it would soon be her turn to made that journey home. Sandra would juggle her time with Lionel (Dad) & back to Krista’s because Krista wanted Mum to be with her at all times. Kista loved her Dad as much as she loved Mum and would spend endless hours helping Dad mold his clay into magnificent pieces of art. Krista’s only brother Jace, whom she’d do anything for, would go on for hours about their crazy times together. Krista boasted about how he was her best friend & how hard he worked, “Just like Dad”. In high school, they would hang out together, as besties do. She spoiled his son & his daughter cause they were as great as their Dad.
Krista leaves behind to mourn three of the most beautiful children you’ll ever meet - Miikka, Michael Jr., and Merrick; parents Lionel Peyachew and Sandra Scout; two sisters Alana Peyachew (Ross), Mackenzie Peyachew (Brady); one brother Jace Scout (Shaquille); one adopted son, Frank Wolf Child; special friend Tyrone Pakamin; aunties Wanda Scout (Edgar), Mo-jo Wolf Child (Bob), Sharon Banks; uncles Herman Scout (Cheryl), Jimmy Peyachew; grandmother Florence Scout, Flornce Peyachew; great aunties Bernice, Lucille, and Yvonne Scout, Alice and Elizabeth Wolf Child; great uncles Bruce and John Wolf Child; adopted sister Lydia Scout; god children Kylia Blackwater and Braylee Scout; nephews Konyae Many Fingers, Brekken Scout, Nico Young Peyachew; nieces Kahli Many Fingers and Braylee Scout who were preciously loved by Krista.
She was predeceased by auntie Glenda (Scout); cousin Kristine Kind; grandfathers Francis Heavy Head, Frank Wolf Child, & Mike Chief Stick; great uncles Leonard Old Shoes, Hugh Scout, & Vernon Scout; great grandparents Lily Scout and Bill Scout.
