It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved TRACY LEAH WOLF PLUME (BLACK PLUME) in Raymond, AB on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the age of 35 years old.
Tracy was born and raised in Cardston, AB on March 15, 1981. Tracy was a very loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin, and friend. She possessed a kind, humorous, and otgoing spirit that will be deeply missed by those she knew. Her beautiful smile and friendly laughter was her trademark. Capable of lighting up the room and brightening anyone’s day. Her personality was daring and bold, and she certainly lived up to her nickname “Crazy Tracy,” unfearful and never backing down to what life had to offer. More than anything in her world, she valued the tie she spent with family and friends. She cherished and loved taking care of her son Trey; who was her everything and meant the world to her. Tracy took tremendous pride in being the caregiver of her grandparrents, the late Jim and Geraldine Balck Plume, whom helped raise her in the traditional Blackfoot culture and religious background. Tracy loved country music, playing cards and raising all her nieces and nephews with her welocming arms, making sure they were all taken care of. Tracy was very community oriented and took great pride in being a Moses Laker. She was a huge supporter and #1 fan of her brother Byron’s Fastpitch Club the mOses Lake Tomahawks/ Regulators.
Tracy attended school in Cardston (Elementary and High School) and later at Lethbridge Community College Sattelite Campus. She was also employed in the Baking Staff at Cardston I.G.A. During her teenage years. She was also a representative of the Moses Lake Kainai Youth Committee (1997/98). One of the best highlights of Tracy’s life was when she got to travel to the states with Blood Tribe Recreation. Along with her older brother Bobby, their stops included Sand Diego, Los Angeles and Tijuana, Mexico. They will always remember the wrong detour into Compton, California.
