Cobin was raised by his father. He attended school in Cardston, Lethbridge, Glenwood, and Levern. Cobin was an outgoing child; he was very spoiled by his father, his aunt Kerry and grandparents. He was very loveable and adored - Leon’s “minime”. Although he was a mischievous child, they were always so proud of their Cobin. When he was a teenager, he loved hanging out with his boys. He loved all of his brothers and being with them right from a young age. Donovan, Joe, and Timmy always used Andrew Jr. and Cobin as their guinea pigs because they were the youngest of the bunch. He was always making everyone laugh; he was so friendly he instantly became best friends with everyone he met and adopted many as his siblings.
When he was a teenager, he met his high school sweetheart, Tarasina. They instantly became inseparable. He loved his Tara very much and they welcomed their first child, Cobin Jr., in 2012. He was extremely proud to be a father. He then married Tarasina in October, 2014. It was the happiest day of his life. Two weeks after their 1st Wedding anniversary. They welcomed their daughter Kateri. He was so in love with his little family. They were his everything. He was always with his son - travelling together, whether it was going to watch uncle Leon Jr.’s hockey games, visiting papa Leo and grandma Stella, or stopping by uncle Timmy’s house to see grandma Elois - they were always together.
Family was very important to Cobin - he enjoyed being a family man. He loved his parents - never going a day without calling them. All of his siblings were special to him; he shared a unique bond with each and everyone if them.
He was so loved. He had a big heart, loved everyone and adored animals. Everyone would get Cobin to baby sit their dogs. He took great pride in his own pets - Chopper, Lil Nudge, Rocket and the Grey. They were all part of his little family.
Cobin was a hard worker. He never went without a job. He started his fire fighting training in 2012 in La La Biche. He loved his fire fighting. In his off season, he was a ranch hand.
